Training you is what we do!

FIND YOUR TRIBE!

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together!” – African Proverb

If you ask anyone who has achieved a high level of success in the real estate business they will all tell you they couldn’t have done it alone. In the wild, they say the predator never attacks the pack, they always go after that lone straggler that’s off on their own. Don’t be the lone ranger off doing your own thing, flying solo all the time. This is very likely to leave you feeling lonely, isolated and not enjoying what you are doing. In addition, you’ll probably find it very frustrating and in a lot of cases, not very profitable.

Many business coaches will tell you that success in business is all about relationships but perhaps there is no other industry where this is more true than in the real estate business. One of the most important things you need to have to achieve success in real estate is strong connections with supportive, like minded people who are big advocates for you and your business. Those raving fans who bang the drums and tell the world how great you are and that anyone who is moving should be using your services. These are the key people who you need to be working hard to stay in touch with, deepening those relationships and building their confidence and trust in you so that they will feel confident in referring you to their family and friends.

Regardless of where you are working, find your tribe and surround yourself with like minded, growth oriented people who are pushing you to succeed at a higher level. They say that if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room. Surround yourself with people who are smarter than you are that will challenge you and who are already at the level you aspire to get to. I’ve read somewhere that you will earn the average income of the 5 people you spend the most time with. So take a look around. Who is it you are spending the majority of your time with? What would their average income be? Ask yourself if these people are succeeding at the level you’d like to get to? Ask yourself honestly if these people are challenging you to grow? Do they have a positive attitude? Do they support and encourage you?  Perhaps, if not, maybe it is time to look for new people to hang out with?
